If you are interested in becoming a user of the cleanroom or hiring facility staff to perform procedures and are external to the USC community, please follow the below procedure.
- Please complete the questionnaire, why you want to become a user.
- Sign and submit the user agreement form Facilities use agreement form for nonprofit users
- Register for cleanroom access (online form). The lab coordinator will set-up your account including assisting in completing requisite external user paperwork (confirming billing information/billing charge agreement and completing of the facilities use and fee agreement form*). Multiple users from a single company or entity can be associated with a single registration as long as the billing point of contact is the same.
- Each individual will then be given an iVIP card which provides a user with a USC ID number, which is needed to get access to the building and the facility. The charge for this ID card is $5.
- The user will need to complete USC General Lab Safety training. This training can be completed online once a user has a USC ID#. After completing training, please email the GLS completion certificate to the facility coordinator.
- You will then be contacted by facility staff to arrange new member orientation and equipment-specific protocols.
Key points of information:
if you would prefer to hire nanofabrication facility staff to perform processes, please use the link above to register. On the online registration form, you can indicate this preference, and all subsequent requirements for safety training are waived.
