INTERNAL – USC USER

If you are interested in becoming a user of the cleanroom and are a member of the USC community, please follow the below procedure.

  1. Please complete the questionnaire, why you want to become a user
  2. Take USC general Lab Safety Class. Instructions for signing up are on the EHS Website.
  3. After completing the lab safety class, register for cleanroom access. The lab coordinator will enter your information into the billing system, give you access to the facility, and confirm access/billing information with your advisor. You will then be contacted by facility staff to arrange training and learn protocols.

Key points of information:

  • Your USC card will be granted access to the cleanroom entry after you finish the cleanroom safety training and quizzes.
  • All equipment is managed by an online equipment management system – NEMO.
  • Billing information is located here.
