The O’Brien Nanofabrication Laboratory charges different rates for different types of users.
- Internal includes users affiliated with the University of Southern California (UPC and HSC), CHLA, and ISI.
- Non-profit includes users affiliated with other academic institutions, non-profit organizations, and the government
- For-profit includes all other users including industry members
The below pair of pdfs show the rates for internal USC members and external members (non-profit and for profit) members. The facility also offers fee-for-use services where our staff will perform processes for the scientific community. The cost for this service is staff time plus equipment time as well as any materials consumed.
Specialty chemicals and materials, such as resists, liquid etchants, and high purity metals, are the responsibility of the researcher.
